Application Process
Pre-Kindergarten:
- Complete the online Pre-Kindergarten Application and submit all required documentation.
- Schedule a campus tour. All prospective students must attend the tour with their parent(s). Tours will not be conducted without the prospective student present.
- Complete the required PreK 3 or PreK 4 assessment. This assessment is required by the Archdiocese of Miami. Please see the admissions timeline for scheduled assessment dates.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Grades Kindergarten - Eighth:
- Complete the online Kindergarten–Eighth Grade Application and submit all required documentation.
- Through the Admissions Portal, send the Request for Student Information and Records Form to your child’s current school. The form must be completed by the school’s principal or counselor.
- Through the Admissions Portal, send the Recommendation Form to your child’s current teacher for completion.
- Schedule a campus tour. All prospective students must attend the tour with their parent(s). Tours will not be conducted without the prospective student present.
- Complete the entrance exam. Students will be scheduled for testing only after all required application documents have been received.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Age Requirements:
Entry dates shall be in accordance with the following schedule:
- Pre-Kindergarten 3 - 3 years of age on or before September 1
- Pre-Kindergarten 4 - 4 years of age on or before September 1
- Kindergarten - 5 years of age on or before September 1
- First Grade - 6 years of age on or before September 1 and successful completion of Kindergarten
Admission Policy
The school has an open admission policy. No person, on the grounds of race, color,
disability, or national origin, is excluded or otherwise subjected to discrimination in the
receiving of services. Nor does the school discriminate in hiring, promotion, discharge, pay,
fringe benefits, job training, classification, referral, and other aspects of employment on
the basis of race, color, disability, age, gender, or national origin.
Immunization Policy
The Archdiocese of Miami requires all students enrolled in its schools to comply with the immunization requirements established by the Florida Department of Health. Nativity Catholic School follows all applicable Florida Department of Health requirements in accordance with Florida Statutes.
The Archdiocese of Miami does not accept religious exemptions from immunization requirements.
School Tours
A campus tour is a required part of the admissions process and provides families with an opportunity to experience Nativity’s Christ-centered environment, visit our campus, and learn more about our academic programs and school community.

Once a student has been accepted, the following must be provided to complete the registration process:
- Registration Online Information - provided at the office
- Birth Certificate
- Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
- Health Forms: 3040 and 680
- Registration Fee
- FACTS account set-up
